To be frank, the Georgia Coast and Shellman Bluff is not for everyone. In fact, you’re either head over heels in love with the place or you hate it. There is no middle ground. Everyone that lives here has the same attitude. This place is an ageless and classless society. No one cares what you do or how much money you make. As they say here, “If you’re good people, your good people.”
If you picture your southern destination to be like a Hilton Head Island or Myrtle Beach then you should stop reading right now. We are the polar opposite of places like that. Shellman Bluff is a coastal town in every sense of the word. We have one flashing traffic light in the county! The golf carts have the right of way on our roads. This place seems like the land that time forgot but when it comes to real estate we are so very far ahead of the norm, especially in these trying times.
It’s obviously a buyer’s market. However, it’s only a buyer’s market if you actually buy something. Our developer’s financial strength allows us to undercut any foreclosure, short sale or distressed buy out there. We can tell you until we’re blue in the face how good things are going here. However, you have to visit to believe it. Our statistics show that if you visit and you like the area, 90% of the people either buy a condo, lot or home or land package.
We know not everyone is in the market. However, if you are even 25% in the market for a southern destination, you have to check out Cooper’s Point at Shellman Bluff. We have houses being built within the gates, all of our amenities and infrastructure is complete, and as remote as we’ve made this place sound we are only 35 minutes to any city convenience you could desire.
